The Sea Islands Action Network was formed by a group of citizens who were motivated to act in response to the 2016 elections. Now numbering over 200 members, we are guided by the following principles:
- We work to build awareness and solidarity on issues to support human rights and democratic values.
- We demand that our elected officials serve as our voice.
- We practice inclusion, respect, and fairness in all of our actions.
SIAN Mission:
To provide a forum where concerned citizens can work together to bring positive change, influence elected representatives, and support candidates who share our values.
