Though it is outside of the mission of the Sea Islands Action Network, we decided to apprise you of this local issue, which will certainly impact all of us.
Issue:
Save River Road, Johns Island, SC from more development. Oppose rezoning a large area of land near the Johns Island Airport that could allow for 200-300 new homes on River Road.
Action:
Sign a petition to let the Charleston City Council know that you oppose more residential development along River Road. They are meeting on August 15.
