The date for Peg Howell’s presentation about the Trump administration’s recent announcement to include waters off our coast in their offshore oil and gas program has been changed from February 13 to January 30.
The Department of the Interior announced January 4 that it will hold the only public meeting in South Carolina for the proposed drilling program on February 13. As a leader of the opposition to offshore drilling, Ms. Howell will be attending that meeting, which will be held in Columbia, SC. We also encourage SIAN members to attend the government’s public meeting in Columbia.
