Issue: We have an opportunity to learn how to increase voter participation in elections. Voting is the power the people have to make their voices heard.
Action: The LWV will train SIAN members to register voters. They will also present strategies for working with non-profits on Johns Island.

Background: Many Seabrookers volunteer their time outside the gate. The organizations we work with will frequently be eager to assist their clients in voter registration. The League of Women Voters will address strategies and best practices for planning a successful voter registration drive with such nonprofits.
