South Carolina has made significant progress in recent months to prevent seismic airgun surveys and oil drilling off our coast. But the battle isn’t over. We must continue to speak out.
Oceana is hosting a rally to celebrate recent successes and update attendees on the status of efforts to ensure waters offshore South Carolina are not included in federal government plans to explore for and produce oil and gas.
Co-hosts for the rally include the Sea Islands Action Network, the Coastal Conservation League, the Conservation Voters of South Carolina, and other nonprofit organizations. Food and drink will be provided.
