A virtual fundraising reception will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in support of Joe Cunningham’s re-election campaign. The event will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm EST. After you RSVP, a Zoom video conference link will be provided closer to the date of the event.
This event will give Joe the opportunity to discuss what he’s been working on in Congress. As a member of the Natural Resources Committee, he’s had the opportunity to introduce numerous pieces of environmental conservation legislation such as The Great American Outdoors Act – the largest conservation bill in a decade – which was recently signed into law by the President. He also passed a bill in the House that would permanently ban offshore drilling off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and ensure that we never have oil wash up on our beautiful Lowcountry beaches.
